Region Sports Network and Portage High School Athletics Announce Exclusive Broadcast Partnership
The Region Sports Network (RSN) is proud to announce a new exclusive broadcast agreement with the Portage High School Athletic Department, marking a milestone partnership between one of Northwest Indiana’s leading local sports media companies and one of the Region’s most tradition-rich athletic programs.
Under the agreement, Region Sports Network will serve as the exclusive streaming home for Portage Athletics through the 2027–28 school year, a total of three full school years. The partnership will feature numerous sports and with dozens of live events on the Region Sports’ various platforms.
“We’re extremely excited to partner with the Region Sports Network to provide exclusive coverage of Portage Athletics,” said Portage High School Athletic Director Brett St. Germain. “This partnership represents an incredible opportunity to showcase our student-athletes, coaches, and programs to a broader audience. RSN’s commitment to local sports aligns perfectly with our vision, and we look forward to sharing Portage Athletics with fans, families, and alumni.”
The partnership represents the first-ever exclusive long-term broadcast agreement between a Duneland Conference school and a commercial sports media platform; a significant milestone that comes as the Region Sports Network begins its 26th year of local broadcasting.
“We are honored that the Region Sports Network has been chosen as the school’s exclusive sports media partner,” said RSN Owner and Executive Producer Chris Ramirez. “The people involved with Portage Athletics have been fantastic through this entire process,” he added. “These are exciting times and we plan to bring that excitement to our coverage of Portage Athletics.”
Through this partnership, Portage fans, families, alumni, and everyone else will have total access to live and on-demand coverage of their teams — all available at regionsports.com and across RSN’s streaming and social platforms.
