OUTLOOK: 2022 was the second straight 4-win season for KV but once again finished second-to-last in the NCC.
The Kougars are returning some talent on the offensive side, starting with their “bell cow” in their run-dominant offense, Marco Castro. Alongside him is fellow Junior, Diego Arroyo, who played well under center last fall.
This upcoming fall campaign could be a memorable one for second-year KV Head Coach, Kirk Kennedy, who sits at 196 career wins. As recent history shows, Kankakee is likely to get the 200 mark for their head coach this year.
However, Kennedy and his crew are looking far beyond the milestone.
