OUTLOOK: The 2022 campaign was not an uncommon occurrence for the Trojans, as it marked their 6th straight 4-win season. It is safe to say that Pete Koulianos’ Trojans have been consistent over the past few years, but more is to be done.
Good news for Highland, 2023 is looking like a real chance for the Trojans to go well beyond the four-win mark they have seen all too well.
It starts with Highland’s senior leaders, featuring an All-State defensive anchor and the area’s top returning tackler in Nick Johnsen, who is not to be taken lightly on the offensive side either. Alongside him is an experienced dual-threat signal caller in Blake Vanek.
Is this the year where Highland not only breaks through their consistent 4-win mark, but also make a run for a conference title?
