Jesse Harper & Jackson Kurth – Valpo. Harper finished the win over Michigan City with 98 rushing yards including a 45 yard TD run while Kurth carried it for 68 yards. The 1-2 combo for the Vikings was key to their win!

The whole Vikings defense earns the Blue Collar Award, holding Michigan City to just seven points and 155 yards, to go along with five sacks and four deflected passes!

Jeremiah Howard – Merrillville. Howard was a big part of Merrillville’s 39-0 rout of DAC rival Portage. The big play receiver caught five passes for 139 yards, including a 33 yard touchdown and a 58 yard catch, which was the longest play of the game!

OF THE GAME

Roderick Bell – Merrillville. Bell was the workhorse for the Pirates out of the backfield, with a tough running style. Not only was a he a crucial part of a Merrillville offense that picked up over 400 yards on the night, he added a couple scores and kept the sticks moving all game.
