1998 – Valpo’s Bryce Drew hits a leaning three-pointer as the clock expires, giving the Crusaders a 70-69 upset over Mississippi in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

2007 – Dallas Stars forward Mike Modano becomes just the second American-born player to score 500 career goals.

2012 – BYU executes the largest comeback in NCAA men’s basketball tournament history, coming back from 25 points down to beat Iona.
