1994 – Atlanta Hawks coach Lenny Wilkens picks up career victory #900.
1997 – Scotty Bowman becomes the first coach in NHL history to win 1,000 career games.
2012 – Edmonton’s Sam Gagner scores four goals and dishes out four assists giving him the NHL’s first eight point game in 23 years.
2014 – The Seattle Seahawks rout the Denver Broncos 42-8 to win Super Bowl XLVIII. Seattle linebacker Malcolm Smith is named MVP.
2020 – Super Bowl LIV: The Kansas City Chiefs comeback against the San Francisco 49ers, 31-20. Patrick Mahomes wins MVP.
