The Northwest Indiana Oilmen will be playing in a best-of-three-game series for the Northern League Championship. After a successful regular season, the Oilmen will now face the Elkhart Miracle for a chance to win their second consecutive league championship and fifth in the Oilmen’s history.

The games are scheduled for August 6, 7, and 8 (if necessary). The first game will be played at Oil City Stadium at 1700 119th Street in Whiting, starting at 7:10. Game two will be played in Elkhart. If game three is to be played, it would be back at Oil City Stadium on the eighth at 7:10.

If you cannot attend any of the championship action, all of the games will be streamed on the social media platforms of the Region Sports Network (RSN). The Oilmen and the RSN have built a relationship with a common goal of growing the overall audience of Oilmen baseball.

Since the team was founded in 2012, the Northwest Indiana Oilmen has gone on to produce quality talent in the professional leagues in addition to providing a sense of community and an overall family-friendly environment to its fanbase. The Oilmen have been quite competitive since their inception and are hoping to stack up a few more memories to their already long list of accomplishments in just a short period.

Region Sports Network has been the outlet of all things Northwest Indiana Athletics since 2000. Whether that is showing the 2024 Northern League Championship series or any other event on a much smaller scale, it is the goal of RSN to provide quality content for its viewers.

Games will be streamed on our YouTube and Facebook pages. Visit our YouTube at RegionSports and our Facebook at Region Sports Nation.
