OUTLOOK: Although what seemed like a solid 4-5 year for the Oilers, the squad went 1-3 in conference play, finishing near the bottom of the GSSC South.
The Oilers were outright dominant in the 2010s, notching five 10+ win seasons throughout the decade. On the flip side, the 20s have not gotten off to the most ideal start for Whiting, as second-year Whiting Head Coach Jason Jendreas hopes to get back to old times.
Jendreas’ Oilers do return one of the top dual-threat signal callers in the conference with Nick Davenport. Alongside him will be two-way threats in Jason Noojin and Nakiya Moran.
With how open the GSSC South could be, Whiting is seeking its first division crown since their sectional-winning 2018 squad.
