FOOTBALL: Munster 2023 Team Preview

OUTLOOK: 2022 was the second straight three-win season for Munster, but the Mustangs found themselves at the bottom of the conference for the fourth straight season. 

The team’s run-heavy offense does bring back a workhorse in Daniel Asgedom, who is one of the top returning ball carriers in the conference. In addition to him, there are some pieces on the O-line that could make his job easier. But the concerns are on the other side of the ball, as the ‘Stangs lose their top four tacklers from a year ago.

It is a “next man up” mentality for Jason Grunewald’s Mustangs, but is it enough for Munster to start prying their way out of the NCC’s basement?
