FOOTBALL: Michigan City 2023 Team Preview

OUTLOOK:  Michigan City finds itself in a unique position for 2023. After a 9-4 Regional-winning season in 2021, the Wolves went 2-8 in ’22. Now, it is a new coaching era at City, as former Calumet coach Cody French is taking over. 

There is no shortage of talent for the Wolves, and it starts with Syracuse commit, Jaden Hart. Hart may be the most dynamic player in area, if not, the conference. Alongside him is a talented receiver room and an experienced signal caller in Tyler Bush. 

French has proven himself in his two years at Calumet, but the DAC can be a different beast when it comes to the pure competition.

Can French along with his talented and experienced senior-led group get back on track and have a year similar to the 2021 Michigan City squad?
