OUTLOOK: Similar to Hobart, a great season for one program may be seen as an underwhelming one for RDP. Although the Devils were part of the three-way split of the conference title, the team lost in the Sectional Semis to New Prairie.
Now, on paper, Lowell loses a large chunk of its offense to the graduation of All-State Athlete, Riley Bank. But the team does some All-State talent of their own in DL Seth Rindfuss. On offense, Lowell brings back a true weapon on the ground with Owen Thiele, who was a workhorse for the Devils a year ago.
Plus, historically speaking, since Lowell Head Coach Keith Kilmer took over the program in 2010, the Devils have had zero losing campaigns and only two seasons at the .500 mark.
With the NCC arguably up for the taking in 2023, anything can happen for RDP, and it is never a good idea to count them out of the running.
