OUTLOOK: Last season was typical for the Chesterton faithful – good, not great. With a 5-6 record (3-4 in the DAC,) the Trojans were slotted in the middle of the conference, somewhere where they have hovered for the past few seasons. Chesterton has been consistent to say the least, ranging between 5-7 wins in each of the last four seasons, but have yet to get over the hump.
It is to note that the Trojans return an experienced signal caller in Sebastian Boswell, along with one of the conference’s top two-way talents in Garrett Lewis.
However, it is also noteworthy that the Trojans will graduate three All-State talents from a year ago, losing Isaiah Fowler, Devin Sain, and Danny Goveia.
It looks to be a senior-led group for Chesterton this season, but can they lead the rest of the team out of the middle of the pack in the Duneland?
