FOOTBALL: RSN Top 10 – Week #4

The Ingots hold on to their spot in the RSN rankings after a dominating win over Lake Station in “The Battle of Deep River,” and hold on to the Frank Chester trophy. A win over an archrival is a great way to build momentum, which is exactly what the Ingots will need this week when they travel to Cedar Lake to take on Hanover Central. The Wildcats haven’t lost a regular season game at home since September 28, 2018, so RF has a tough task ahead of them, but a great opportunity to prove all their doubters wrong.

A nail-biter on Friday didn’t go the Trojans’ way as they fell at home to City 24-21. It’s the second straight loss and it has them on the brink of falling out of the rankings. A trip to Kiwanis Field more a matchup with 0-3 LaPorte is on deck for Friday night, but with two straight L’s, the Trojans have to make sure they focus on this week’s opponent and don’t get caught looking ahead to the Week #5 showdown with Valpo, or else it could be a third straight defeat.

The Warriors are the Region’s highest scoring team at 51 points per contest, and you know they want to put on a show for their home fans.

Hobart dominated the last two meetings against CMA, outscoring them a combined 87-6 in those matchups, so this could be a good week to get the offense going early - something we haven’t seen too much of this year.

With the loss to CP behind them, the Pirates now turn their attention to Portage. Will there be any residual effects from the week three defeat? We’ll find out on Friday, but our guess is no there won’t be.
