Zack Merrill – QB – Andrean. In Andrean’s dominating 41-7 win, Niner QB Zack Merrill took the game over, carrying the ball 14 times for 104 yards, completing eight of ten passes for 170 yards while scoring three times on the ground and tossing three TD passes!

OF THE GAME

Sal Valle – RB – Hobart. Despite being down big, Hobart running back Sal Valle didn’t quit, playing hard the entire game. Valle finished up the game with 22 carries for 74 yards and also had Hobart’s only touchdown.

Andrean had no shortage of highlight plays in the victory, but this 83 yard pitch and catch from Zack Merrill to Tyler Thomas set the tempo for the game as Thomas showed off his blazing speed on the score.

Chase Triplett – OLB/DE – Michigan City. Triplett was seemingly in the Merrillville backfield all night long, picking up a ton of tackles for loss and helping keep a dangerous Pirate offense in check throughout the night.
