September 29, 1928 – Hobart picks up varsity football win #1 with a 12-0 victory over Lew Wallace to open up the 1928 season.
September 29, 1934 – Clark gets their first ever varsity football win, a 31-0 victory over Hobart.

September 29, 2006 – Chesterton scored a program record 63 points in a 63-36 victory over DAC rival LakeCentral
September 30, 1944 – Lew Wallace defeats Roosevelt 20-12 in the first ever meeting between the two schools
September 30, 1983 – Calumet defeats Griffith 7-6. To date, it’s the last Warrior win over the Panthers
October 1, 1927 – Hobart loses the first varsity game in program history, 32-0 to Hammond High
October 1, 2004 – Andrean shuts out Highland 38-0 – the only shutout during Andrean’s state title run
October 2, 1936 – Crown Point defeats Kentland 12-0, snapping a 17 game losing streak
October 2, 1987 – Andrean defeats Merrillville 6-0 – their first win in “The Battle of the Broadway” since 1962.
October 3, 1947 – LakeStation gets their first ever varsity football win, a 20-13 victory over Monence from Illinois
October 3, 1975 – Les Thornton picks up his first win as the head coach at Griffith, a 7-6 victory over LakeCentral
October 3, 1997 – South Central set a school record for most points in a game and largest margin of victory in a 73-0 win over LaPorte LaLumiere.
October 4, 1930 – Hobart set a school record for most points in a game and largest margin of victory in a 72-0 win over Morocco.
October 4, 1968 – Hanover Central suffers the first loss in program history – a 12-7 defeat at the hands of North Newton
October 4, 1991 – Kirk Kennedy gets his first win as the head coach at Lowell, defeating Calumet 19-0
October 4, 1996 – Griffith set a school record for most points in a game and largest margin of victory with a 83-0 win over Calumet
October 5, 1935 – Hobart defeats Griffith 27-0 in the first ever meeting between the two schools
October 5, 1956 – Calumet plays in their first ever varsity football game, a 6-6 tie with Morocco
October 5, 2007 – Hammond High scored a program record 74 points during a 74-20 win over cross-town foe Gavit.
